Recent projects
As part of my first year project "Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow", I designed and developed a dress inspired by Portuguese tiles, as such symmetry was extremely important for this project.
This knee length coat is made out of deconstructed military uniforms and other specific garments that were sourced from the Royal Navy, making it a one of a kind piece. Benefitting from all these different fabrics such as camouflage cotton twill, quilted fabric, cotton poplin, fleece and knitted fabric, this parka is a fusion of different geometric shapes sewed together with contrast stitching applied throughout this coat in order to produce a unique effect that would make the garment distinguishable, and stand out from the rest.
